Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Weighbridge Installation and Operations Technician to perform a diverse range of tasks, including weighbridge installations, general laboring, truck driving, and site management. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, technical skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in various environments. Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair weighbridges at client sites, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Drive heavy combination (HC) trucks to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and organizing materials in the yard and on-site.
• Perform general laboring tasks, including yard work, site preparation, and equipment maintenance.
• Manage and coordinate weighbridge installation projects, including liaising with clients and team members.
• Work safely on construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Occasionally travel for work, with opportunities to see different parts of Australia (travel is infrequent).
• Assist with welding and other technical tasks as required.
Essential Requirements:
• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Licence.
• Valid Forklift Licence.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Welding skills and general laboring knowledge.
• Previous experience working on construction sites.
• Ability to manage and oversee weighbridge installation projects.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
