Bathurst Regional Council has an exciting opportunity to join their HR team in a local government organisation that is connected to its local community offering secure employment and a great work/life balance.
The Human Resources Administration Officer provides support to the Manager Human Resources and HR Business Partners (HRBP's). This position supports the HR team in critical people processes, and in providing excellence in customer service as the central point of contact for all HR enquiries, both internal and external. This role also provides high level administrative support to the Manager Human Resources & HR team.
To be successful in this role you will be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude with sound judgement, be well organised and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, process driven, diverse environment.
Key Requirements
- A current Class C NSW Driver's Licence
- Cert IV or Diploma in Business (Human Resources) or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Administration in a complex process-driven environment, in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience in developing relationships at a variety of levels
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation relating to the HR field
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high accuracy, ability to prioritise competing priorities and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office programs and records management systems

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.
Salary: $1,155.40 to $1,213.83 per week + super
Position Status: Permanent full time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
