Levantine Hill Estate is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to oversee the presentation and operation of its private Homestead located on the Hill Road property in the Yarra Valley. This is a rare opportunity to live and work in a stunning rural setting, maintaining a luxury residence to the highest standards for the owners, their family, and guests.

About the Role

This part-time (20-30 hours per week), live-in position is based in a private, self-contained two-storey cottage just moments from the Homestead. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the Homestead and surrounding Estate are maintained in impeccable condition, with all features and facilities operating seamlessly.

You will work closely with other departments across the Estate and external service providers, ensuring the property is always ready to welcome guests with exceptional standards of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the presentation and upkeep of the Homestead and surrounding gardens.

  • Maintain household systems, appliances, and equipment to ensure operational excellence.

  • Prepare guest suites and living areas to luxury standards.

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for maintenance and service delivery.

  • Support entertaining and special events, including liaising with caterers and assisting with setup and service.

  • Manage household inventory, documentation, and administrative tasks.

  • Uphold security, privacy, and safety protocols across the property.

  • Provide personal assistance to the owners as required, including errands, wardrobe care, and pet care.

About You

  • Proven experience in private household, luxury hospitality, or estate management.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation.

  • Highly organised, proactive, and discreet.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to live on-site and embrace the rhythm of rural estate life.

  • You thrive in an autonomous environment and are comfortable making decisions independently.
