The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a dynamic individual to plan, perform and supervise the effective delivery of gym and fitness operations and programs at BVSC aquatic facilities.

As a Gym and Fitness Team Leader, you will supervise and perform operations, maintenance and cleaning of Gym and Fitness facilities and equipment. You will Instruct and supervise clients in exercise, fitness techniques and use of equipment as well as coordinate staffing and rosters for the Gym and Fitness team to deliver programs and services.

About You

We are seeking an individual who Accredited Certificate IV in Fitness (or equivalent) and has 2 years' experience in the fitness industry.

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • High-level knowledge of appropriate exercise prescriptions for different groups, ages, abilities and fitness levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating fitness programs.
  • Ability to motivate, train and lead a small team. 
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with customers. 

Benefits

This is a permanent part time position working 25 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $81,500.64 (pro rata) gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $1412.00 (pro rata) per week base salary
  • $155.32 (pro rata) per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
