Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and showcasing the beauty of our region? We’re looking for enthusiastic Guest Experience Ambassadors to create memorable experiences for visitors and locals alike! Be part of the Trail of Lights and the stunning Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra (FOSO), featuring works by world-renowned artist Bruce Munro.

About the Opportunity
As a Guest Experience Ambassador, you will:
- Deliver Outstanding Visitor Experiences: Share your knowledge and enthusiasm about the region while welcoming visitors at venues like the Trail of Lights, Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra (FOSO) art installations, the Visitor Information Centre, and Mildura Arts Centre.
- Support Regional Tourism Growth: Inspire visitors to explore more, stay longer, and immerse themselves in all that our region has to offer.
- Provide Customer Service & Sales: Efficiently assist with food, beverage, merchandise, and ticketing sales using a POS system.
- Exhibition Support: Help set up and close exhibitions to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Hospitality experience in front-of-house or back-of-house roles.
- A current Food Handlers Certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and Certificate II in First Aid, or a willingness to obtain them.
- A good standard of verbal and written communication to connect with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems, PC software, and word processing applications.
- A current satisfactory police check and Working with Children’s Check, or a willingness to obtain them.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 3 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $41.62 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus statutory superannuation.
