Do you enjoy hands on work in a job that has variety? Liverpool Plains Shire Council currently has an opportunity to join the Roads team. In this role, you will work as part of a team to assist with the construction and maintenance of all roads, drainage, traffic services, concreting, footpaths.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.
The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, 65km from Tamworth and about four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training.
We offer a salary starting at $50,970.40 - $65,249.60 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
