About the Role

The Civil Maintenance Team are seeking a skilled General Hand to join our Team to operate plant machinery such as a loader, excavator, truck, and other plant equipment. You should be qualified with significant truck driving experience (HR) and heavy plant and equipment operation experience including bobcat, excavator, and loader and be passionate about working in a safe and efficient manner.

About you

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

• HR truck licence
• First Aid certification (Provide First Aid).
• Accreditations and experience for operating role specific equipment such as: Skid steer loader, Excavator, Backhoe, Loader, Grader, Water Cart, Roller.
• WORKSAFE WA- High Risk Work tickets: Forklift (LF), HIAB / Vehicle Loading Crane (CV), Dogman (DG)
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management accreditation.
• White Card.
• Experience working in outdoor environments.
• Demonstrated experience within Civil construction, Utility Asset construction / maintenance or similar industries.
• Experience and or understandings of Construction drawings, and Dial before you dig plans.
• Experience and or understandings working within other Utility Assets.
• Experience with hand tools, pumps and power operated equipment.
• Understandings of WHS legislative requirements within the workplace.
• Ability to undertake and follow instructions as directed.
