About the role
Clarence Valley Council (CVC) is excited to announce the recruitment of our new part-time position, Financial Planner.
This position, reporting directly to the Manager Finance, will join a supportive and diverse finance team which supports CVC’s extensive business services and delivery.
CVC supports a healthy work-life balance through offering flexible working arrangements, flex-time banking, support for training and career development and so much more.
The finance team is looking for a reliable and detail oriented professional to add to our high functioning team. To be successful in this role, you will have experience in financial budgeting, policy and strategy development, corporate overhead allocation, cash flow analysis and key performance indicator reporting. This position will be required to work independently with key stakeholders to ensure all major business drivers are accurately captured and budgeted. The primary goal of this position is to ensure CVC remains financially sustainable in the delivery of the communities aspirations.

This position is located at Council's Grafton office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
