Who are we?

Kidney Support Network, otherwise referred to as KSN, is a not-for-profit organisation.

We operate throughout Queensland from our head office in Mackay to offer a variety of services for KSN clients and members. Our most regarded services include patient transport to and from hospital renal appointments and a hospital visitation service.

We fund most of our services through revenue made in our six Op Shops located in the Mackay district, the Sunshine Coast and Redcliffe.

To provide quality support services, information and advice for people and their families, impacted by kidney disease in Queensland.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and experienced individual to fill the diverse role of Kidney Support Network. Operations Manager. The key responsibilities of this role are vast and are addressed in our selection criteria below.

Selection Criteria

Essential

1. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead staff within a structured performance management framework.

2. Excellent written and oral communication skills and competence in the use of the suite of Microsoft Office products.

3. An ability to develop and maintain effective high level working relationships across a diverse range of business, staff, volunteers, and clients.

4. Demonstrated planning, time management and delegation skills.

5. Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining day to day operational procedures including records management, report writing, correspondence and networking

6. Knowledge of WHS regulations and demonstrated practical experience in administering WHS requirements within an organisational context.

7. A current driver’s licence.

8. References from current and previous supervisors.

9. Understands processes around grant applicaitons and accessing additional funding streams.
