HAZELCLEAN - JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: 

Residential Cleaner   

JOB PAY:

Casual $32.31 per hour (plus 12% super), laundry and vehicle allowances.

Different rates apply for commercial due to times of shifts

LOCATION:

Hobart and surrounding suburbs (20km radius)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Residential Cleaning Role
Join our team of cleaning specialists — the “magic fairies” behind harmonious homes. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in creating calm, clean spaces for busy families, professionals, retirees, and anyone who’d rather do anything but clean. You’ll be helping our clients reclaim their time and peace of mind by easing the physical and mental load of household upkeep.

HOURS OF WORK:

Residential: Monday to Friday 9am – 3:30pm

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (or willing to acquire):

· Fully COVID vaccinated (or exemption)

· Australian driver’s licence, unrestricted

· Own transport, with fully comprehensive insurance

· National Police Check

· Working With Vulnerable People

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Skills:

· High attention to detail

· Reliable, honest, and trustworthy

· Work within the timeframe allocated

· The ability to be self-directed and show initiative

· Excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications:  No qualifications required; however, a general knowledge of cleaning products and processes is preferred.

Experience: Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not mandatory.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow the instructions and processes created by Hazelclean to complete a house clean to the highest standard, within the time frame given

· Performing general cleaning duties within a household, such as: vacuuming, mopping, laundry, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, windows and sills, surfaces, and so on

· Knowledge of workplace health and safety, including the ability to comply with workplace policies, procedures, and relevant legislation

·  Taking care of your physical wellbeing

·  Practice COVID safe protocols

·  Safe and sensible driving of business vehicles

·  Working within a team environment, encourage each other and checking over your team member’s work
