We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is looking to develop their career with a growing Tasmanian business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, quotation submissions and follow-ups

• Review non-standard components and coordinate risk assessment with management

• Manage projects including liaising with clients, employees, suppliers and subcontractors

• Prepare monthly progress claims

• Support the operational team with ad-hoc duties as required

• Monitor, review and process variations including design changes and transport costs

 Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the building/construction industry, including at least 2 years estimating

• Ability to read & interpret technical drawings

• Strong numeracy, analytical and time-management skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• High attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

 Desirable

• AutoCAD experience (panel breakups)

• Previous precast concrete experience
