ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Council is currently seeking an enthusiastic recent or near graduate to join its Public and Environmental Health team.
Reporting to the Coordinator Public and Environmental Health, you will be mentored by and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high level environmental health services to meet statutory and community needs. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, with a primary focus on collaborating closely with the Public and Environmental Health team. The successful candidate will contribute to fostering a positive, customer-focused culture, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective community engagement.
To be successful you will bring

- Recent or substantial completion of tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health or a related field.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proven digital literacy with competence in Microsoft 365, namely Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team that has a focus on delivering quality customer service within set timeframes.
The rewards
- An annual salary range of $68,700 to $88,900 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
