If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Electronics Technician in our Water and Wastewater Operations team!

About the role:

  • Opportunity to further develop your technical skills in installation, maintenance and continual improvement of electronic systems that monitor and control Water and Sewer Pumping stations and Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities
  • Contribute to the management of SCADA Operation in the area of Water and Wastewater including SCADA infrastructure assets
  • Provide technical advice and assistance where required to the Mechanical and Electrical team area and the wider water business.

  • a base salary ranging from $81,860 per annum with competency-based increments up to $96,965 per annum, plus 11.5% super
  • 76-hour, 9-day fortnight

We are seeking:

  • NSW Electrical or Contractors Licence. With at least two years' experience
  • Certificate IV (and equivalent experience) in Instrumentation 
  • A working knowledge of Water Supply distribution and Sewerage collection and transport systems.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Chinderah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.

Do you hold a NSW Electrical or Contractors Licence, along with at least two years of relevant experience?

Please describe your knowledge and experience with water supply distribution and sewerage collection and transport systems.

Describe your experience in planning, designing, implementing, and developing control systems, including any related data management. 

Detail your experience in PLC Ladder Logic/Function block programming.

Describe your experience with the installation, maintenance, and calibration of a diverse range of Instrumentation systems.

Please describe your expertise with complex plant control circuitry, as well as your working knowledge of Radio Telemetry and SCADA systems.
