PECE has been overwhelmed with projects in the residential park sector. The influx of projects related to the electrical design for townhouse developments and retirement villages necessitates the appointment of an experienced individual to lead a team focused on this sector.
As an Electrical Engineer, your will will entail ensuring timely delivery and upholding the highest quality stands for design. You'll collaborate closely with our senior team, clients, and project managers to address project requirements comprehensively, from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:Communicate with developers and gather required information to carry out fee calculations.Undertake engineering design services in accordance with the appliable standards, project scope of works and project specifications.Conduct checks of other designers and engineers work in accordance with company work processes.Prepare and submit work plans, council approvals and relevant applications as necessary.Facilitate the receipt of supply agreements and certificates of supply as necessary.Coordination with other services and architectural features.Complete and maintain all safety in design documentation.Provide construction stage technical support including reviewing tenders and certifying claims.Provide assistance in training and development of other employees.Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.Experience in the Electrical distribution design to AS3000 standards.Experience in engineering calculations such as maximum demand, cable sizing, transformer rating, switchboard rating, motor starter rating, CT & VT rating, protection settings etc.Experience and knowledge of Australian Standards, IEC standards and industry standards.Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.Ability to read and interpret plans.Ability to work autonomously.Communication skills, both written and verbal along with a proven commitment to teamwork.Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.Architectural Draftspersons experience is a bonus.
Annual salary will be between $70,000 and $75,000 depending on experience level.
