About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join the team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone experienced in refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment who enjoys fault finding, maintenance, and working directly with clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service across a range of sites while maintaining strong communication and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment
Perform preventative maintenance across client sites
Handle warranty repairs and ensure timely resolution
Complete new installations and commissioning of equipment
Arrange and source parts required for repairs and installations
Manage service jobs through a mobile job management system
Complete detailed service reports, including breakdown causes and repairs undertaken
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards
Communicate effectively with clients and internal coordinators
Skills and Experience
- Restricted Electrical Licence with Refrigeration or full Refrigeration Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar service technician role
- 3rd or 4th year apprentices will be considered
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Positive attitude and strong team focus
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
