EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER

PART-TIME - 8 hrs/week (equiv)

Support our Director & Lead Educator to enhance learning outcomes for preschoolers.

About the Role

• Collaborate with Director & Lead Educator to strengthen capacity & enhance the current curriculum, program & practice.

• Engage with professional development & facilitate professional learning of staff.

• Support staff currently studying.

• Support recently qualified staff to complete programming & observations.

• Support collection of meaningful evidence for the QIP.

• Coordinate our Support to Thrive Program.

• Be willing to work additional hours in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor as the Person in Day-to-Day Charge.

Essential

• ACECQA-approved ECT qualification.

• Up-to-date WWCC, Police Check & First Aid/CPR.

• Prescribed child safety & child protection training.

• Comprehensive knowledge of & practical experience implementing EYLF & NQS.

Desirable

• Team-oriented with a collaborative & supportive approach.

• A passion for early childhood development & commitment to ongoing professional development.
