About the Opportunity
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference in your community while working with cutting edge infrastructure? As a Drainage Maintenance Person, you’ll play a crucial role ensuring the programmed maintenance and inspections of underground storm water systems within the municipality.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- You’ll hold a current driver’s license endorsed light rigid
- Completed Certificate III in Civil Construction (Relevant Stream)
- Have Confined Spaces Accreditation or willingness to obtain
- Hold a current OH&S Construction Induction Card
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
- Hold certificates of competency and have experience operating a range of plant and equipment associated with drainage construction and maintenance.
- Have knowledge of drainage maintenance requirements
- Experience in the installation of drainage lines and construction of drainage pits
- Strong understanding of OH&S in the workplace including prestart and associated documentation.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $72,599 to $77,343 per annum including industry allowance, maintenance allowance plus statutory superannuation.
