Meli is a Victorian not-for-profit organisation, offering a unique combination of services to support members of our community throughout their lifetime, from early childhood through to adolescence and adulthood. The organisation is built on more than 300 years of combined local experience and heritage from two likeminded organisations, Bethany and BCYF, which formally merged in April 2023. Operating across the Barwon, Central Highlands and South-West regions of Victoria, delivering a diverse range of services including kindergartens and vital community support services including early years services, a range of family services, through to financial counselling, and NDIS services. Reporting to the Executive Director Finance & Infrastructure, you will have pivotal role in the organisation leading the Digital Transformation across ICT including the development and implementation of a digital strategy for Meli. This will include a technology roadmap and plan to drive a contemporary, secure and supported ICT environment that enables delivery of services anywhere, anytime. This roadmap will also ensure the successful consolidation of legacy ICT systems and frameworks into one cohesive and agile ICT environment post-merger of both organisations. A key focus of this role will include your ability to lead, select and implement a cohesive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data environments that allow Meli to deliver exceptional services, enable their people and generate actionable insights and data to inform strategic business decisions into the future. You will strategically engage and influence across the organisation to drive dependent transformation projects steering the business towards innovative digital solutions. Importantly, you will lead with respect and build a high performing ICT team that is client focused and respected as a supportive service partner to the organisation.

You will be an experienced digital and technology leader, with demonstrated experience leading organisational wide digital transformation and change across ICT portfolios. You can effectively engage key stakeholders and bring a business along on a change journey, leading with a project management and governance approach. As an experienced people leader you have the ability to coach and develop others and model effective collaboration, consultation and critical thinking. You are highly regarded for your strategic mindset and commercial acumen and ability to develop and assess business cases, articulating return on investment while minimising financial and technology risk. Importantly, you are considered a collaborative leader who is comfortable leading in environments experiencing significant change. Experience in mergers or acquisitions would be highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in IT and Cyber Security, Project Management, Asset Management or other equivalent relevant experience would be well regarded.
