Fran Capelli Academy Pty Ltd (RTO 6055) is seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdressing Trainer & Assessor to deliver apprenticeship training across Canberra, ACT.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting and training hairdressing apprentices through a blended delivery model, including workplace-based training and online support sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering practical and theory-based training

• Conducting workplace visits and assessments

• Supporting apprentices and salon employers

• Maintaining accurate training records and compliance documentation

• Monitoring apprentice progress and engagement

• Building strong relationships with industry partners

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or higher

• Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

• Strong industry experience in hairdressing

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Desirable

• Previous experience delivering apprenticeship training

• Knowledge of ACT apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements

• Experience with online/blended learning delivery
