Irrigation Technician – Part-Time (Leading to Full-Time)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves working outdoors and talking to people? Our pumping and irrigation business is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable Irrigation Technician to join the team.

We’re starting this as a part-time position, but for the right person who shows initiative and fits the culture, there is a clear path to full-time hours.

The Role

You’ll be the face of the business on-site, ensuring our clients' systems are running at peak efficiency. This isn’t just about digging trenches; it’s about understanding water flow, diagnosing pump issues, and building lasting relationships with our customers.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems and pumping equipment.
• Troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical components
• Providing top-tier customer service and explaining technical issues simply to clients.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and sites are left clean.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: You have a background in irrigation, plumbing, or a closely related trade. You know your way around a pipe wrench and understand the basics of water pressure.
• The "People" Factor: You have excellent rapport with clients. You’re outgoing, easy to talk to, and professional.
• Reliability: You believe that "on time" is actually 5 minutes early. Punctuality is non-negotiable for us.
• Growth Mindset: You’re trades-literate but hungry to learn more. We are happy to upskill and provide on-the-job training to turn you into an expert in specialized pumping systems.
