About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality, Safety & Risk Systems Manager to lead CTST’s integrated quality, safety and risk management frameworks. This pivotal role ensures CTST meets its regulatory obligations, strengthens governance systems and embeds a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Business Resilience & Quality, you will manage CTST’s Quality Management System (QMS), oversee safety and incident management processes, coordinate internal audits, support accreditation requirements and drive organisation wide improvements. You will lead a small team and partner with leaders, staff and external stakeholders to enhance the service user experience, reduce risk and support operational excellence.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, people and processes and is confident operating in a complex, high compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and maintain CTST’s Quality Management System including policies, audits and corrective actions

  • Oversee quality, safety and risk initiatives ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

  • Lead continuous improvement activities, structured problem solving and organisation wide improvement projects

  • Manage the incident management program including investigations and reporting

  • Provide expert advice on quality, safety and risk including support for SIRS related matters

  • Lead internal audit programs and monitor performance against KPIs, risks and quality indicators

  • Build capability across the organisation through coaching, training and stakeholder support

  • Prepare reports for senior leadership, Board committees and external regulators

About You

You are a proactive, organised and collaborative leader with deep expertise in quality, safety and risk systems. You build strong relationships, influence positive cultural change and bring a solutions focused mindset to a dynamic environment.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing quality systems, compliance frameworks and audit programs

  • Strong experience leading continuous improvement and business operating system initiatives

  • Proven people leadership capability and the ability to build high performing teams

  • Strong analytical skills including interpreting performance data and identifying emerging risks

  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience managing projects, competing priorities and organisational change

  • Experience and knowledge of relevant legislation, quality standards (Aged Care & NDIS), WHS obligations and regulatory frameworks

  • Demonstrated experience in policy development and leading quality improvement projects

Desirable:

  • Previous management experience working in an Aged Care or NDIS environment would be advantageous but not essential

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods is highly desirable

Licences & Requirements

All CTST employees must:

  • Hold a current driver’s licence

  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People Registration

  • Undergo a National Police Check

  • Be an Australian Resident or hold a valid Australian working visa

  • Be willing to undertake intrastate travel
