The company's activities span the full sugar processing cycle including cane growing, milling, refining, packaging and distributing sugar products to retail, industrial and export customers.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Chemist who possesses the skills necessary to undertake analysis for a factory/ plant to meet maintenance targets, goals and objectives and be required to:Assist with the data collection and reporting systems for the mill – cane payment and sugar/molasses products.Analyse, interpret and review current production data and methods to maintain and enhance production efficiencies.Convey and supply technical advice and counsel regarding production and related matters to the shift teams.Investigate any proposed technical changes leading to productivity, environmental or quality enhancements.Monitor laboratory and operational data against established targets, advise areas of concern – cane payment and sugar analysis.Assist in the development and management of budgeting, planning and administration functions.About YouTertiary qualifications in Applied Science or a relevant discipline or have extensive experience in sugar milling operations relevant to this role.LifestyleIf you are looking for a sea change then come to a region which offers a relaxed lifestyle including close proximity to picturesque beaches and Australia's most liveable climate.
