Permanent Full-time Opportunity (35-hour week) Salary from $64,298.52 - $74,725.04 per annum + 11% Superannuation + 3.5hrs on a Saturday every fortnight - Penalty Rates Applicable!

 

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? As a Customer Service Officer at Wingecarribee Public Libraries, you will be integral in providing high-level support and information to library visitors and members. Your role is crucial in ensuring visitors receive accurate and timely information, catering to their individual needs with a customer-centric approach.

 

Essential Criteria

  1. Minimum Diploma in Library and Information Services or equivalent and/or currently enrolled and working towards library qualifications allowing eligibility for Library Technician membership of ALIA
  2. Demonstrated customer service, delivering a customer centric approach, providing clear and accurate information to support and resolve customer enquiries
  3. Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders in offering support and solutions to deliver customer centric service
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of library functions including cataloguing, acquisitions, document delivery, reference and circulation.
  5. Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable productivity to facilitate day- to-day operations.
  6. Demonstrated conflict resolution skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations
  7. Ability to work in isolation, independently as well as in a team environment and to prioritise tasks
  8. Experience in cash handling and reconciliation
