About the role

The role of Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the Customer Experience program across all services within Council.
This role is responsible for taking the initiative in driving customer experience improvements identified through customer understanding, identified enhancements and feedback.
The position of Customer Experience Coordinator is required to engage with employees, provide quality customer service, build positive relationships within the organisation and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualification in Business, or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in the provision of customer experience, customer service or change programs combined with ongoing professional development
  • The ability to lead and manage the development and implementation of the Customer Experience Strategy to ensure strategic and operational business transformation initiatives, ranging from Process Improvement to Corporate and Operational Strategy
  • Experience developing and implementing customer journey mapping and similar customer experience related tools to improve the end to end customer experience
  • Leadership experience, providing daily supervision, manage workloads and staff performance to ensure effective implementation of the Customer Experience program

Other important information

  • The commencing salary for this position is up to $107.7k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $124.7k per annum on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation.
  • We have a permanent full-time role available. 
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite.
  • This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
