About the role

The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a talented Corporate Planner to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of a vibrant and dynamic community.

As the Corporate Planner, your responsibilities will include ensuring the annual preparation and review of the City's Delivery Program and Operational Plan in consultation with stakeholders, coordinating the implementation of the City's integrated planning and reporting framework, facilitating the preparation of corporate planning reports, and supporting community and stakeholder engagement.

You will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, present information to stakeholders, utilise new technologies for continuous improvement, coordinate surveys to ascertain community views and support the development and monitoring of the City's performance framework. Additionally, the role involves undertaking other tasks as directed by the leader within the employee's skills, capability, and training.

About you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, governance, planning, project management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate or strategic planning, preparation of strategic plans or statutory reports, organisational performance improvement and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in successfully managing several small projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and quick to adapt to new software programs.
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
