About the role
This position is a permanent, part-time role in the Park and Recreation Services Division, based at the Moruya Administration Office. This role will be responsible for coordinating sporting and recreation groups as well as the booking and promotion of facilities.
Your main duties will include:
- Coordinating community projects including a range of sport and leisure programs that address wellbeing and improved participation in recreational activities.
- Facilitating recreational activities and staff within Council’s Facilities Booking team.
- Effectively networking and developing partnerships and strategies driven towards specific groups and stakeholders within the community.
Salary Information
Total remuneration for the role is in the range of $55.66 to $61.49 gross per hour comprising:
- $49.92 to $55.15 base salary
- $5.74 to $6.34 superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check is required for appointment to this position.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced communication and facilitation professional with a high aptitude for planning, development and coordination to effectively facilitate the operation of our recreation services. To be successful, you will be great communicator and demonstrate the following:
- Relevant industry qualifications.
- Experience with project management and confident to liaise with a large variety of stakeholders and clients.
- Demonstrated consultation, promotion and event management skills.
- Flexibility and capacity to attend events out of office hours.
