The role
Are you a passionate HR leader with a commitment to providing exceptional employee experiences? Join us as the Coordinator Human Resources Operations, where you will manage the team responsible for delivering our recruitment, training & development and general HR services administration.
In this key leadership role, you will manage the HR Operations team, ensuring high-quality HR services and effective support across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include managing Council’s annual training plan and budget, directing the Employment-Based Training Strategy (EBTS), and ensuring the effective delivery of Council programs such as Work Experience, e-Learning, and Tertiary Education programs.
Additionally, you will actively pursue external funding opportunities to support Council initiatives, implement best practices in recruitment to build diverse talent pipelines, and collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to address both current and future talent needs.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should bring a background in HR leadership, with experience managing teams and implementing Recruitment or Learning strategies. You should have excellent data analysis skills and a proven track record in fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

Salary: Commencing salary circa $105,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
A vehicle arrangement will be made with the successful candidate for this role. Council will provide you with a leaseback vehicle for an annual fee calculated as 20% of the gross purchase price. This is a fully maintained vehicle for both business and full private use with no additional expenses in normal use.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
