Embrace a Key Role at Wingecarribee Shire Council as a Contributions Advisor. This exciting temporary full-time opportunity comes with a dynamic two-year contract extending until June 2026, offering an exclusive opportunity to influence the trajectory of our community's future. Salary Ranging from $105,748.76 - $122,897.32 plus 11 % Superannuation Contribution p.a.

 

The Opportunity:

As our Contributions Advisor, you'll take charge of managing major strategic land use and planning policy projects. From crafting contributions plans to leading inclusive community consultation activities, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic planning framework. Your expertise will ensure the development and maintenance of a high-quality natural and built environment, fostering heritage preservation, liveable communities, and sustainable transport.

 

Essential Criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, Accounting, Business or Law and/or equivalent.
  2. Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of policies, relevant environmental and planning legislation and regulations with the ability to identify community and stakeholders’ requirements to guide strategy, policy, plans and actions.
  3. Experience in a similar role working within a multidisciplinary team of technical professionals on a range of projects.
  4. Demonstrated project management skills that facilitates the development, implementation and continual monitoring of strategic projects, programs and initiatives.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to critically analyse issues and develop and implement appropriate solutions.
  6. Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external and to negotiate outcomes and resolve conflict.
  7. Current Drivers Licence (Class C)
