About the role

Reporting to the Property and Contracts Co-ordinator, this position will be responsible for the oversight of Councils major contracts including (but not limited to):

  • Mystic Mountain Bike Park
  • Dinner Plain maintenance operations
  • Seasonal pools and sports centre
  • Holiday and caravan parks

The successful candidate will require a proactive and strategic approach to contract management, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and compliance with relevant regulations.

Other responsibilities include delivery of services either through contract or direct Council operation for a variety of Council contracts and lease and license agreements.

Our ideal candidate 

  • Experience in overseeing contract management activities.
  • Experience in developing compliance frameworks and monitoring contractor compliance activities for major public projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to write reports and prepare external correspondence.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professional written and oral communication skills, including sound organisational and computer skills with the ability to effectively interact with a range of customers and other stakeholders.
  • Driver licence.
