Community Facilities Officer (Maternity Leave Relief)

  • Central Picton location
  • Temporary full-time, (Up to 12 months, with possible extension)
  • 35 hours per week with participation in Flex Time and opportunities for Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Salary from $87,361 + 11.5% Superannuation

About the Position:
Council is currently seeking dedicated applicants for the role of Community Facilities Officer. In this temporary position, you will play a vital role in enhancing our community by coordinating bookings for our parks, sports fields, and community facilities.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Diploma or TAFE qualification in the area of sport and recreation and/or facilities management and a C Class Drivers Licence.
  • A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in the areas of administration, facility and/or sport and recreation.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of computer systems, applications and databases, particularly MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
