Community Engagement Advisor
Permanent Full-Time | Wangaratta, VIC | $88,121 per annum + super

The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking a an experienced Community Engagement Advisor to lead engagement initiatives that build trust, strengthen relationships, and enhance community participation. Working within the Marketing & Communication team, you'll provide advice and deliver innovative engagement strategies aligned with the Local Government Act 2020 and deliberative engagement principles. You will be responsible for developing frameworks, tools, and training, as well as supporting teams in their community engagement efforts. With at least five years of experience in community engagement and a strong understanding of the IAP2 spectrum, you will bring creativity, collaboration, and strategic thinking to a role that directly influences the future of our region.
