We have recently created a brand new Cleaner role in our Building Assets branch. This position is responsible for providing a high-quality cleaning service of Council's Civic Administration Buildings and other nominated facilities across the local government area. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Provide cleaning and caretaking functions services to Council
  • Working in a team environment as part of the Building Assets Team

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You have demonstrated experience in delivering cleaning services in a commercial environment and are able to work independently, as well as part of a team. You are competent in using and maintaining cleaning equipment. You are physically fit to undertake all necessary cleaning duties. You have strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and prioritise issues to ensure tasks are completed in a timely matter. 

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Physical fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the job
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to show initiative and apply a high level of detail when carrying out work tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team environment

Attractive annual salary ranging from $41,616 to $48,334 is on offer, with a 3.5% increase payable from 13 July 2024.
