Position Number: 2585                     Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $808.34 - $893.20 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Part time– 22 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

Do you have a passion working with children and fostering their growth and development? Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has an exciting job opportunity working in an Early Childhood Care setting.

In this role you will:

  • Visit educators’ homes to monitor the standard of care provided.
  • Aid in the development of age-appropriate environments and activities.
  • Ensure educators are selected, recruited, and trained in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Fulfill the role and responsibilities of the Educational Leader within the service.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a professional qualification in Early Childhood Education and care (Diploma or Degree) and has experience in an Early Childhood Care setting.
  • Ability to plan, organise, set priorities, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Possess and maintain a current class ‘C’ Drivers licence.
  • Current NSW Working with Childrens Check.
