Dozer Operator

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Matric / Grade 12. Valid driver’s license. Technical/Core Training: Valid Dozer Competency Certificate. 2 years+ experience in a mining environment. Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

Safe operation of Dozer inside mining area. Handling and/ or moving of material. Effectively communicate to all site personnel. Daily pre-start inspections on Dozer. Keep machine clean.
