The team is committed to exceeding client expectations through innovative solutions and technical expertise.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist, based in Millicent, South Australia. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, performing machining and milling tasks, monitoring quality control, and maintaining equipment. The individual will also review technical drawings, set up machines, and ensure high-quality precision in manufactured components while adhering to production schedules and safety standards.Must have full unrestricted work rights in Australia AND be an Australian citizen.This defence project role requires access to classified information/assets and mandatory participation in security vetting processes. Only Australian citizens are eligible for the necessary security clearance—no exceptions or sponsorship available.QualificationsProficiency in Machine Operation and workflow managementExperience in Machining and Milling processesSkills in Quality Control and detail-oriented inspection of finished componentsKnowledge of CNC Machinery setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving skills and a commitment to precision and efficiencyGeneral mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principlesCertificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification (preferred)
