Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated metal fabrication apprentice to join our team and undertake a Certificate III in Metal Fabrication. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the steel fabrication industry and gain hands-on experience in a supportive workshop environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of structural steel components
• Learn to read and interpret shop drawings
• Operate fabrication equipment under supervision (punch & sears, bandsaws, drills, welders, etc.)
• Assist with measuring, cutting, fitting, and welding tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop skills and knowledge

Essential:

• Genuine interest in metal fabrication and the steel industry
• Willingness to undertake a Certificate III qualification
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Reliable and punctual
