The Package: $34.70 per hour + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 2 of the QPRC Salary System 2023).

QPRC is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the QPRC Aquatics teams as Casual Recreation Facilitators for our pools in Queanbeyan, Bungendore, Braidwood and Captains Flat.

Position Overview: As a Casual Recreation Facilitator, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the aquatics facilities are well maintained and facilitated. You will also be responsible for closely supervising patrons and rendering assistance where necessary (first aid), help maintain presentation of facilities, undertake daily chemical and filtration testing along with the provision of high-quality customer service. This role may also include facilitating learn to swim classes to children, preparing food services and general customer service to patrons.

Who we are looking for: Council is seeking individuals who are passionate about customer service and aquatic operations with a keen focus on the safety of the community. The successful candidates will be self-motivated with the ability to create a safe environment for our local community. Successful candidates must possess a Pool Lifeguard licence or AUSTSWIM qualification along with a Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate. From this recruitment process a merit pool will be created to be utilised over the next 12 months.
