We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our New Haven Farm Home Team on a casual basis. Flexibility is key and vital to being successful in this position.

We also have a small number of 4hr support shifts that need filling from time to time. 

Depending on the shift you work the duties can vary. Duties include:

  • Driving the clients to activities or appointments. 

  • Assisting the clients with cooking and cleaning and general house maintenance. 

  • Assisting the clients with personal care such a showering, toileting and dressing. 

  • Assisting the clients with their medications.

  • Supporting the clients with behaviours. 

  • Supporting clients with a PEG and catheter.

  • Spending time with the clients completing meaningful activities that are going to improve on their individual skills. 

  • Administrational duties, scanning and renaming documents. 

  • Flexibility with site locations based in Freemans Reach and Richmond.  

The ideal candidates should have the following experience and attributes to be successful in this position:

  • Experience in aged care or disability is ideal.

  • Having a vested interest in disability is a must. 

  • You MUST be a team player, flexible, reliable and good communication skills. 

  • You will be required to obtain CPR, First Aid, WWCC, NDIS Workers Check and some internal training courses as part of your induction. 

  • You must have a NSW Drivers Licence and, you must be confident to drive outside of the Hawkesbury area including driving to the city/blue mountains.
