Duties and Responsibilities:

• Domestic assistance: help with domestic cleaning, meal prep., laundry, etc.
• Social support: assist with travel for appointments, shopping and outings.
• Personal care: assist with showering, toileting, transferring, incontinence care, feeding, assistance with mobility and physical exercise, etc.
• Medication prompting and supervision.
• Companionship and dementia care.

Selection Criteria:

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent, or working towards it.
• First Aid Certification (Required).
• National Police Certificate (Required).
• Multilingual capabilities preferred.
• Driver Licence with Car (Required).
• Smartphone with Internet Access (Required).
• Evidence of COVID19 vaccination.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills in customer service.
• Ability to fulfil our standards and values when performing their tasks.
• Have an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.
• Can work autonomously and as part of a small team.
• Must be flexible with hours.
• Previous experience as a support worker in the Age Care/Community Sector is preferable - not essential.
