The Albion and Provisions Crêperie is seeking a full-time Café Manager / Head Barista to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences across both venues. Reporting to the Hospitality Director, this role is a key member of the café management team and upholds Mona Farm’s reputation for excellence through high-quality food and beverages, professional service, and efficient café operations.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Oversee daily operations at the cafes, ensuring service, quality, and presentation meet Mona Farm standards.

• Lead, mentor, and develop front-of-house teams, including rostering, training, and performance management.

• Monitor labour, costs, and inventory, implementing operational efficiencies and managing budgets.

• Maintain café equipment, premises, and operational systems to ensure smooth, safe, and consistent service.

Coffee & Food Quality

• Prepare and supervise the preparation of coffee, beverages, and menu items to ensure consistency and excellence.

• Collaborate with the kitchen and Executive Chef to manage stock, reduce waste, and maintain supply standards.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate guest experience and operational performance.

Guest Service & Brand Experience

• Engage with guests to enhance their experience, address feedback, and ensure high satisfaction.

• Support promotional initiatives, seasonal offerings, and special events to drive revenue and engagement.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with WH&S, hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests.

Team & Collaboration

• Work closely with the management team to align café operations with Mona Farm’s brand, culture, and objectives.

• Participate in planning, reporting, and strategy meetings to support business growth and operational excellence.
