Location: Stirling, South Australia

Position: Full-Time Café Manager

Opening Date: November 2025 (Get in early – help us build it!)

We’re opening a brand new café in the beautiful Adelaide Hills – and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Café Manager to bring it to life.

If you’ve ever dreamed of helping shape a venue from the very beginning — from hiring the team to setting the tone for service and culture — this is your chance.

About the Opportunity

This isn’t just a management job — it’s a leadership opportunity at the ground level of an exciting new venue. Set in the heart of Stirling, our café will focus on exceptional coffee, fresh seasonal food, and creating a warm, welcoming space for locals and visitors alike.

We’re looking for someone with strong hospitality experience, a genuine love for great service, and the energy to help launch and grow something special.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the owners in the pre-opening phase: hiring staff, setting up systems, helping shape the menu & customer experience

  • Lead day-to-day operations once open – team management, customer service, ordering, rostering, and supplier coordination

  • Create a strong team culture focused on hospitality, consistency, and care

  • Be a key face of the café in the local community

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and service

  • Keep an eye on budgets, stock, and overall performance

About You

  • Proven experience managing a café or hospitality venue

  • Confident leader who thrives in hands-on environments

  • Organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused

  • Comfortable making decisions and taking initiative

  • Barista skills and coffee knowledge a big bonus

  • Passion for community, sustainability, and building a brand with heart

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of an exciting new café from the very beginning

  • Real input into systems, menu, hiring, and culture

  • Supportive and collaborative ownership team

  • Competitive salary and long-term growth potential

  • Work in the stunning surrounds of the Adelaide Hills
