The Package: $849.32 - $1,248.31 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Trainee Grade 4 – 10 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

In this role you will:
• Help design natural and built landscapes that promotes population, agricultural and business growth through sustainably and equitably sited residential, rural and employment lands with appropriate infrastructure and environmental offsets.
• Contribute to the protection of the local environment and promote a standard of amenity that meets community expectations through strategic land-use planning.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is eligible to enrol or is currently enrolled in a relevant Urban and Regional Planning bachelor’s degree and meets the study requirements to attain completion.
• Has the ability to plan, organise, set priorities, and manage time to ensure objectives are achieved within an agreed timeline.
Working with us: The successful candidate will join Council during an exciting period of economic development and play a key role in Council's Land-use Planning. They will observe the impact of their work on the local community and have access to learning and development opportunities available to staff.
