Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Residential Draftsperson to join our growing team. This role blends technical drafting and estimating, working closely with our sales staff to bring projects from concept through to build-ready. 

You’ll draft plans in-house, scope requirements, and learn to use our estimating software to ensure designs are cost-effective and align with client budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate drawings and documentation for new home and development projects

• Work with clients (alongside our sales team) to capture requirements and translate them into workable plans

• Use estimating software to prepare budgets and assess design feasibility

• Liaise with the construction and sales teams to ensure plans meet scope, compliance and cost targets

• Provide technical input and support across the early project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Qualification or strong experience in drafting (residential building preferred)

• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed plans (design licence not required)

• Interest in learning and applying estimating processes and software

• Strong attention to detail with an ability to balance design intent and budget

• Confident communicator who can work directly with clients as needed

• Team-oriented, with a willingness to support both sales and construction staff
