Take Ownership of a High-Impact Territory

NLT Digital Solutions is seeking a full-time Sales Representative based in North Queensland to support continued business growth across the mining and tunnelling sectors.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and expanding NLT's presence across the region.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who can confidently engage with customers and understands the value of networking, communications, and technology solutions within industrial and mining environments.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting regular visits to customer sites to generate new leads and strengthen industry relationships
  • Developing new customers within your designated area of responsibility
  • Identifying sales opportunities and progressing them through to order placement
  • Responding to inbound enquiries and preparing quotations, pricing, and product information
  • Compiling tenders and supporting proposal submissions
  • Representing NLT Digital Solutions at Trade Shows, Expos, Conferences, and industry networking events
  • Supporting project coordination and assisting with customer account management activities
  • Maintaining accurate reporting and communication with management regarding pipeline activity
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across mining and tunnelling operations

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to mine sites and customer locations throughout North Queensland and surrounding regions.

Bring Your Technical Knowledge and Commercial Drive

To be successful in this role, you will bring a minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role.

You will also have an understanding of networking, telecommunications, communications systems, mining technology, or other related technical solutions.

The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

  • Experience working with networking, communications, telecommunications, or technology-based solutions
  • Exposure to the mining, tunnelling, resources, or industrial sectors
  • Experience identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Experience preparing quotations, proposals, or tender submissions
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and operational stakeholders
