Administration Assistant

Flat Packs WA is continuing to grow and has recently moved into a brand new, purpose-built facility in Wattleup. As a leading WA manufacturer of custom flat pack cabinetry servicing the trade, construction and mining sectors, we are entering an exciting new phase and are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team.

This role will suit a motivated and organised Administration Assistant with some practical experience or exposure to an office environment who is keen to build their skills and grow within a supportive and down-to-earth workplace.

About the Role

You will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our busy office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing general administrative duties to support the wider team

  • Monitoring and responding to the shared administration inbox

  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of digital records

  • Filing, scanning, document preparation and document control

  • Assisting with office organisation and internal communication

  • Supporting projects, reporting and other administrative tasks as required

  • Working collaboratively with team members and contributing to a positive workplace

This is a busy and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, following processes and contributing to overall team efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Practical administration experience or exposure to an office environment

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

  • The ability to follow instructions and work within established processes

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner

  • A high standard of written and spoken English

  • The ability to manage competing priorities

  • Competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience using Xero is preferred

  • JobMan experience is advantageous but not essential

  • Full Australian working rights are required

This is a full-time, office-based role and is not suitable for students. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Wattleup Monday to Friday.
