Demolition Excavator Operator ( Safeway Demolition & Asbestos Removal)

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Excavator Operator to join our team for ongoing work across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators on a range of demolition projects, including residential, commercial, and construction sites. You will be required to carry out safe demolition works, load trucks, sort materials, assist with site clean-up, and work closely with supervisors and ground crew to ensure each job is completed safely and efficiently.

Duties include

Operating excavators for demolition works
Loading trucks and bins
Sorting and separating demolition materials
Using attachments such as grabs, hammers, buckets, and shears where required
Working safely around ground crew and other trades
Following site plans, supervisor instructions, and WHS requirements
Assisting with general site duties when required
Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements

Previous experience operating excavators in demolition
Current excavator ticket or VOC
White Card
Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
Strong understanding of site safety
Ability to work well with a team
Good communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime when required
