Queanbeyan Industrial Supplies is a family owned and operated business, specialising in supplying engineering and industrial supplies, predominately within the Canberra/Queanbeyan region, as well as interstate. We are seeking a sales/invoicing officer to join our small team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Processing sales orders / invoicing 

• Serving walk in customers

• Taking telephone sales enquires 

• Checking and responding to email sales enquiries 

• Invoicing daily and monthly accounts 

• Processing cash sales 

Our ideal candidate: 

• Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail 

• Customer service skills and experience 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Proactive and a willingness to learn 

• Proficiency with computers and sales/accounting software systems 

• Previous experience in an industrial/engineering supplies environment an advantage

• Product knowledge (power tools/safety equipment/abrasives/welding equipment etc) is also an advantage, but not essential.
