About us

We are a small well-established earthmoving and land clearing company operating late model earthmoving equipment and a well-maintained truck & trailer fleet. Working in the domestic building, agricultural and forestry sectors. We offer a great working environment with opportunities to enhance and further skills needed to succeed in the earthmoving and logging environment.

Qualifications & experience needed for the role:

· Experienced Excavator & Compact Crawler Loader operator.

· Minimum 3-5 years of excavator operating experience required.

· Ability to plan the works, set out and achieve a high level of final trim on either / or Excavator & Compact Crawler Loader

· Preferable to have HC or MC with Road Ranger experience ( we can assist the right applicant in gaining the appropriate licence )

· White Card

About You:

You must have high attention to detail in your work and take pride in your results, present yourself professionally and be committed to working safely. You must have a good knowledge of earthmoving methods and be able to efficiently operate various earthmoving equipment.

Your ability to work with minimal supervision within a small team environment; display a positive, self-motivated attitude and be able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills. You will be required to possess basic mechanical knowledge for you to be able to maintain our equipment to a high standard. You will also be provided with the opportunity to work autonomously once you have been trained to have a clear vision and understanding of the role to this rewarding and exciting position.

You will need effective verbal and written skills, as well as basic IT skills for our app-based time management & WPS systems.

This position will be well suited to a person looking to further their skills in operating earthmoving plant, forestry equipment or truck driving.

Tasks & responsibilities of the role:

· Safe & efficient operation of earthmoving plant ranging from 5 tonne to 28 tonne excavators, compact crawler loaders, 12 tonne loader etc .

. Willingness to be trained on the safe & efficient operation of 8 wheeled log forwarder and tilt base tracked harvester

· Assistance with onsite & workshop maintenance & cleaning of equipment
