Location: Departing from our GVL site and travelling into the heart of community

At Global Village Learning, we don’t just drive buses—we take learners on journeys of discovery. We're looking for someone who brings more than just a license. We want someone with lived experience behind the wheel, a commitment to safety, and a passion for exploration—someone who sees the road as one of the most powerful learning environments.

As our daily bus commuter, you'll ensure safe, meaningful transport for our young people as they engage in offsite EDventures and community-based learning. You’ll also play a key role in supporting compliance and care for our growing fleet of buses, helping to make sure every vehicle is road-ready and reflective of our community values.

When you're not driving, you'll step into your other role as a GVL Guide—sharing your own interests, whether that's tinkering, building, farming, gardening, cooking, or anything else that captures young people's imaginations in our hands-on, learner-led environment.

At GVL, learning is a two-way street. You’ll thrive on learning alongside young people, guiding them as they explore the world around them—and discovering new things yourself along the way.

Who You Are:

• You’ve got strong driving experience and a safety-first mindset

• You're excited to help maintain and manage the compliance needs of a growing bus fleet

• You love hands-on learning and can share your passions with others

• You believe young people are capable of extraordinary things when trusted and empowered

• You’re collaborative, flexible, and always curious

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving our learners on daily EDventures into the wider world

• Contributing to the management and compliance of our vehicle fleet

• Guiding sessions in your areas of experience and interest

• Learning alongside our community and co-creating meaningful experiences
