The Role

Looking for a flexible hospitality role where you can make a real impact? Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our aged care team in Toowoomba.

This is more than just a kitchen role, you’ll deliver nutritious meals with care, respect, and a friendly approach, creating positive dining experiences that brighten residents’ days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
  • Serve meals and snacks with a high standard of customer service
  • Re-stock supplies, including after meal periods
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
  • Set tables, plate meals, and support the Chef with general kitchen duties

Skills and Experiences:
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
  • Contract catering experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
